Wedding Flower Installations

A Lush Celebration of Dahlias and Bold, Autumn Colors for Darwin & Katie’s September Wedding at Nicollet Island Pavilion in Minneapolis. Full floral arch features mainly locally grown dahlias and lisianthus, while copper beech provides a rainbow of hues as the foliage backdrop. Photos by Jeannine Marie Photography.

Lakeside Floral Columns: Muted late-summer tones mirror the landscape and frame the altar for Catherine and Dylan. Their intimate wedding on the shores of one of Minnesota’s ten billion 😉 lakes could not have been on a more gorgeous day. Interesting botanical elements in addition to the flowers include smokebush, amaranth and crabapple from local farms. // Eileen K Photography.

A Bright and Sunny Floral Meadow for Laura and Olivia in Minneapolis. Wildflowers, cattails and ferns mix well with a variety of roses to encircle them with their loved ones as a part of their wedding. This meadow is built in many sections and for the reception was dispersed around Quincy Hall. We compost all leftover plant material and also use sustainable mechanics so it’s nearly a zero-waste process (usually just some tape gets tossed!). // EmDash Photography.

Stephanie and Alex had their reception in the autumn, while their ceremony was in the spring. Flowering for them twice at the Lora in Stillwater was an honor. A fun neon sign with the bride and groom’s last name was framed with a floral installation near the head table. Locally grown amaranth, dinner plate dahlias and fall-kissed maple takes the stage. // Photos by Garret Super.

Fairy Floral Columns for Morgan and Rob at the Neu Neu in Minneapolis. Free-standing and organic, floral columns are versatile designs. Unlike a large arch, they can be moved easily and transitioned from separate ceremony and reception locations if needed. Baby’s breath sparkles and Spanish moss create the shapes for these altar designs, and colorful bubblegum orchids crown cascades of other flowers. // Photos by Mann Frau.

Warm & Wild: Jackelyn and Cody were married at the Como Flower Garden and had a lovely reception at a family member’s home. Cozy tables for two set with charcuterie, a blanket collection for enjoying a fire this sweet October night, and beautiful beeswax candles brought so much charm to an already meaningful place. A wooden arch framed the couple at their sweetheart table, flowered with asymmetrical sprays of roses, magnolia, chrysanthemums, bittersweet vines and more. // Tess Ender Photography.

A Neutral Meadow at the altar for a styled shoot at Round Barn Farm, just an hour south of the Twin Cities in Red Wing, Minnesota. Dried florals like hydrangea and grasses mix well with fresh Toffee roses and locally grown snapdragons and Queen Anne’s Lace. // Jeannine Marie Photography.
