Please Include:

  • dimensions of your planters, windowboxes, etc.
  • how much sun they get/what side of the building they’re on (in general, south and west facing areas get the most sun, while north and east get the least. Of course, this depends on shade cover from rooflines, trees and neighboring buildings)
  • color and style preferences/dislikes
  • budget range
  • timeline preferences

Spring

Cold-hardy flowers and accents can bring us the color we crave after a brown, sloppy Minnesota March.

April 5: You get fresh plantings and color (yay, color!!) as soon as possible, but you’ll need to watch temperatures and be prepared bring planters inside or cover them (dry cleaning plastic, thin shower curtains, or sheets work well for this) if temps fall below freezing.

April 20: Choose our later install date if you’d prefer to not have to babysit your new planters and don’t mind waiting a few more weeks for color.

We enroll new clients for container gardening in Minneapolis all throughout March and April if we have capacity. Please inquire today!

Additional Notes:

Service Minimum is $200. A single planter can range from $120-$450 depending on size, design, plant varieties and decorative elements. Please contact us with a photo and dimensions of the containers, and we’ll help you find the right design for your budget!

Ask us about add-on watering and maintenance services.

Summer

May 15: Clients who don’t have spring plantings may prefer to have an earlier summer install date. May 15 is the projected last frost date in the Twin Cities and when we begin booking gardening clients. Summer container plants need overnight temperatures of 50 degrees to be happy. We’re booking out to May 21st at this point; please contact us ASAP to be scheduled.

June 10: If you have a spring planting, we will wait until mid June to install summer designs.
